So , first add -2/7 and 3/5 .

 \frac{ - 2}{7} +  \frac{3}{5} =  \frac{ - 10 + 21}{35} \\  \\  \frac{11}{35} =  \frac{ - 11}{35}

Now , add 4/3 and 2/5 .

 \frac{4}{3} +  \frac{2}{5} =  \frac{20 + 6}{15} \\  \\  \frac{26}{15} =  \frac{15}{26}

Now , multiply a and b means multiply -11/35 by 15/26 .

 \frac{ - 11}{35} \times  \frac{15}{26} \:  =  \frac{ - 33}{182}
