If the gradient of AB is 5/6, find x

Answer:

by using distance formula

AB = root under ( 15-x )² + (2-(-3))²

5/6 = root under (15-x)²+(5)²

5/6= (15-x)+5 .......after removing root

now , solve it by cross multiplication,

5/6=20-x

5=6×20-6x

5=120-6x

6x=120-5

x=115/6 ans
