answer is x^2-2x+2 as we know the roots of eq x^2-3 are alpha and beta
then alpha+beta=0
alpha×beta= -3
then another eq
x^2+sum of zeroes-product of zeroes
alpha-1+beta-1= -2
alpha-1) ×(beta-1)=-2
