Let f: R- R be defined by f(x) = 10x + 7. Find a function g: R- R such thatg(x)=3-x

f : |R -> |R is defined by f (x) = 10x + 7

g : |R -> |R is defined by g (x) = 3 - x

Then, g o f : |R -> |R be defined as

= g o f (x)

= g (f (x))

= g (10x + 7)

= 3 - (10x + 7)

= 3 - 10x - 7

= - 10x - 4

and f o g : |R -> |R be defined by

= f o g (x)

= f (g (x))

= f (3 - x)

= 10 (3 - x) + 7

= 30 - 10x + 7

= 37 - 10x
