Let M (5,-3) be the midpoint of a line segment joining two
points P and Q. If the coordinates of P are given by (-3, 2),
find the coordinates of Q.
Q(x,y)

mid point of (x,y)= (x1+x2)/2 & (y1+y2)/2

mid point of (x,y)= (x1+x2)/2 & (y1+y2)/2then,

mid point of (x,y)= (x1+x2)/2 & (y1+y2)/2then, =(-3+x2)/2=5. & (2+y2)/2=-3

mid point of (x,y)= (x1+x2)/2 & (y1+y2)/2then, =(-3+x2)/2=5. & (2+y2)/2=-3=-3+x2=10. & 2+y2=-6

mid point of (x,y)= (x1+x2)/2 & (y1+y2)/2then, =(-3+x2)/2=5. & (2+y2)/2=-3=-3+x2=10. & 2+y2=-6therefore,

mid point of (x,y)= (x1+x2)/2 & (y1+y2)/2then, =(-3+x2)/2=5. & (2+y2)/2=-3=-3+x2=10. & 2+y2=-6therefore,x2=13 & y2=-8

mid point of (x,y)= (x1+x2)/2 & (y1+y2)/2then, =(-3+x2)/2=5. & (2+y2)/2=-3=-3+x2=10. & 2+y2=-6therefore,x2=13 & y2=-8hence, the coordinates of Q (13,-8).

may it helps you.
