Let P and Q be the points of trisection of the line segment joining the points A(2, -2) and B(-7, 4)

such that P is nearer to A. Find the coordinates of P and Q.​

co ordinates of point P

=(-7+4/3),(4-4/3)

=(-3/3,0/3)=(-1,0)

co ordinates of points

=(2(-7)+1(2)/2+1),(2(4)+1(-2)/2+1)

=(-14+2/3,8-2/3)

=(-12/3,6/3) =(-4,2)
