Prime numbers are the number that have no other factor than 1.

So the sequence given above in the question as 11 13 17 and 19. Therefore the very next prime number that comes in the sequence is 23.

The reason behind is 20, 21 and 22 have factors other than 1. So, they are not prime numbers. where as 23 has no other factors than "1".

Actually the number which comes next is 23 if you its 21 then look at the question it asks for sequence prime number in such case 21 is divisible by some other factors.

So obviously the next prime for the series of 11, 13, 17, 19 is 23 since it is the next prime number.
