Question 1 :What happens when a glass bowl falls on a hard surface ?

the bottom of the glass bowl will broke

Water starts turning into vapour and bubble are formed.
It's is soluble in water. So when mixed with water it forms sodium hydroxide and carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide helps the dough to rise in presence of heat it rises more and that makes the bread or the cake fluffy
