for h(g(1.5)),
We know that g(x) =8-3x
therefore, g(1.5)=8-3(1.5)=3.5

now h(g(1.5)) will become h(3.5)
h(x)=2x+5
h(3.5)=2(3.5)+5=13
Therefore h(g(1.5))=12

Answer:

Value of h[g(1.5)]=12

Step-by-step explanation:

Given h(x)=2x+5 ----(1)

g(x)=8-3x ------(2)

i) h[g(x)]

= h(8-3x) /* from (2) */

= 2(8-3x)+5 /* from (1)*/

= 16-6x+5

= 21-6x

Therefore,

h[g(x)]= 21-6x ----(3)

Now

h[g(1.5)] = 21-6×1.5 /*from(3)*/

= 21- 9

= 12

Therefore,

Value of h[g(1.5)]=12
