Explanation:

1.Diffusion is the spreading out and intermixing of one substances into another due to movement of particles. It takes place from region of high concentration to the region of low concentration till the uniform distribution is attained. 1) Diffusion occurs in Solids , Liquids and gases.

2.Solid are characterized by structural rigidity and resistance to changes of shape or volume. Unlike a liquid, a solid object does not flow to take on the shape of its container, nor does expands to fill the entire volume available to it like a gas .

3.All liquids show the following characteristics:

Liquids are almost incompressible. In liquids molecules are pretty close to each other. ...

Liquids have fixed volume but no fixed shape. ...

Liquids flow from higher to lower level.

Liquids have their boiling points above room temperature, under normal conditions.

4.a substance that can flow; a liquid

बह सकने वाला पदार्थ; द्रव; तरल पदार्थ

5. Gases have three characteristic properties: (1) they are easy to compress, (2) they expand to fill their containers, and (3) they occupy far more space than the liquids or solids from which they form

6.You can smell perfume because it diffuses into the air and makes its way into your nose. A teabag placed in a cup of hot water will diffuse into the water. Placing food coloring in a liquid will diffuse the color. Cigarette smoke diffuses into the air.
