Subject: The Nuisance of Loudspeakers

 Sir:

I am writing this letter to express my anguish and annoyance over the problem of loud speakers, especially during the examination days. I am a student studying in +2 standard in a reputed school in the city. The final examinations are just round the corner. I am preparing very hard day and night. During the day the loud noise from speakers does not disturb and distract as much as it does at night. Especially at the weekends the noise from the loudspeakers is just unbearable. During the last weekend I could not study at all. As a result my stress and anxiety just hit the roof. In spite of the law prohibiting loud music playing beyond 11 o’ clock, people just violate the rules and regulations.

There are thousands of students like me who have to suffer on account of this problem. Besides, the loudspeakers also cause lots of harassment to elderly people, patients, and babies. I on behalf of all the students of the city and loudspeakers’ victims plead and appeal to you to look into the matter and ensure proper peace after 11 p.m. so that we can study and have a peaceful life. I am hopeful you will take prompt action in this regard.

Thanking you,

Yours truly,

Devi Lal

Subject :- Nuisance caused by loudspeakers.

Respected Sir

Let me draw your attention to the nuisance of air pollution by loudspeakers. I would request you to please take proper action against it.

A few years back, Pantnagar was a very quiet town. People in it felt proud of its clean and fresh surroundings. The people have seemed to forget the value of peace. All through the day, loudspeakers play at a high pitch. When there is a marriage or Jagran, one can't sleep even during the night.

The students can't able to study due to this noise pollution. Kindly look into the matter personally and take immediate and suitable steps to give us some relief.

With thanks

Yours faithfully

Vishal Kr. Sharma
