Sir/Ma'am
Expecting for a squared column in your prestige newspaper's front I would like to draw your attention towards the wastage after water resources and my concern towards conservation of resources. I would also request you to public this letter as article and bring it in knowledge of concerned authority.
Recently I visited metropolitan cities of India and their outskirts too. The shocking news was that everywhere water was used recklessly. Both in slum areas where people go long to bring drinking water they wasted it in useless thing. Many people say if World War 3 would be there the reason will be water only.
people are going to fight in their places itself for water.
If at this time nothing is done for water conservation very frequently the day would come when we would loose even 0.9% of freshwater remaining.
Therefore, conservation of water is necessary to prevent future consequences. Their can be many small ways to conserve water at individual level and their can be many ways to conserve water at intermediate ( group ) level and also their can be ways to conserve water at national of state level.
Ways to conserve water at individual or domestic level :
1. Water the plants with mug and bucket.
2. Clean the car by mug and bucket and not with pipe.
3. Close the tab while cleaning your teeth
4. Use mug and bucket while taking bath and don't use shower
5. Do not throw remaining water on ground but throw it in a bucket.

Ways to conserve water at intermediate ( group) level :

1. Develop a garden in your societies and make a small pond to conserve rain water.
2. Develop a public well for your society.
3. Develop new flush tanks – Low flush or controlled flush systems can help you conserve a lot of water as the flush can be controlled throughout.
4. Prevent Clogging of water pipes  – Salt content in water can quickly clog your water pipes. Your housing society should consider installing desalination or water softening systems to ensure clear water gets pumped through the water pipes.
5. Your housing society can get people to practice simple water saving techniques to conserve water. Recycling water and rain water harvesting systems are another way for a housing society to combat water shortage. If all these measures are practiced, you can help reduce the strain on water resources and help replenish them.

Ways to conserve water at national level :

1. Protection of water from pollution :

If the total fresh water available on the earth remains pollution free, it is sufficient to meet the drinking water needs of the existing population of the world, unfortunately a large portion of fresh water does not remain fit for use of the living world due to increasing economic activities, urbanization etc.

Oceanic water in the form of ecological system of seas is an important environmental system, but during the last century pollution has spread in large proportions.

2. Water conservation programs involved in social solutions are typically initiated at the local level, by either municipal water utlilties or regional governments. 

3. Improving water management  practices that reduce the use or enhance the beneficial use of water.

4. Another strategy in water conservation is rain water harvesting  Digging ponds, lakes, canals, expanding the water reservoir, and installing rain water catching ducts and filtration systems on homes are different methods of harvesting rain water.

5. protecting groundwater  resources. When precipitation occurs, some infiltrates the soil and goes underground. Water in this saturation zone is called groundwater.
Contamination of groundwater  causes the groundwater water supply to not be able to be used as resource of fresh drinking water and the natural regeneration of contaminated groundwater can takes years to replenish.
