The ion formed after removal of Hydrogen ion (H⁺ ion) from an acid is called acid radical.such as When HCl loses H⁺ ion, it forms Cl⁻ which is an acidradical,SO4 2-,etc.
The ion formed after removal of hydroxide ions (OH-⁻ ions) from a base is called basic radical.such as Na+, Ba2+, Fe3+ etc.
