Sir,

Though your esteemed newspaper, I would like to create awareness in the society about health hazards caused by pollution. In today's world, pollution has became a serious threat at present which is causing many health problems to the living beings.

Air pollution is a serious threat today. Our atmosphere is getting affected and is impure because of various types of gases added to it by man made sources like automobiles and vehicles. Also the harmful gas Carbon monoxide is released by forest fires. A large concentration of this gas affects the nervous system, causes suffocation and leads to headache among human beings. These gases can also affect the functioning of brain, kidney, lungs etc. It also causes many respiration problems. Water pollution is also affecting the aquatic life as a lot of chemicals are released from industries that emerge into rivers. Also fertizers are the main cause of water pollution.

I hope that people will understand and this letter will make them aware about their role of keeping the environment clean and green.
