Letter of Complaints against Electricity Problems :

3 Vivek Vhar,
Pratapgarh.

8th April - 2009

To :

The S.D.O.,
Electricity Board,
Pratapgarh.

Sir,

I wish to draw your attention to the fact that unwired turnouts have been lying exposed since some months in our colony Vivek Vihar near the post office play ground. Some workers from your department visited the playground to carry out repairs and left the place littered with wires. Many residents have expressed great fear that any day their children playing in the ground may tread on these wires and get electrocuted.

Kindly expedite immediate action to cover up the wires and prevent harm to children which would be beyond regret later on.

Thanking you.

Yours faithfully,

Pratap Mehra

Answer:

Dated 10th November 2019

To

The Chairman,

Electricity Board,

New Delhi.

Subject: Frequent load shedding for three months in Kailash Colony.

Sir,

I am constrained to once again express my displeasure on the crisis of frequent load shedding in Kailash Colony.

I am surprised that in spite of lodging complaints with the power department, nothing has been done and the locality of Kailash Colony continue to face frequent load shedding for the last three months. Due to this the people of this locality are facing much hardship. Further, both parents and their children are very concerned with the frequent power cut as the annual final exams will commence soon. It must also be noted that it is the common people, the low income and hand to mouth groups of people who suffer the most during load shedding because they cannot afford to buy solar panels or generators.

I therefore request the power department and the authorities to look into the matter immediately and restore uninterrupted supply of power to this locality at the earliest.

Yours sincerely,

Neelima

Kailash Colony.
