If you have to do it in a letter then you may not be successful. Tell them you want to sit and talk with them. If they are really busy people then ask the one you have exposure to that you want an hour to talk to them together, any day any time.
Tell them why you want to go to a boarding school. What will you get there that is not available where you are? Boarding schools are remarkably expensive so I assume that is not an issue for them in your mind.
Tell them you are asking for this because XXXXX and it is important to you. Talk it through and listen to them as well. It could work but no letter thing, talk to them face to face, then they know you are serious and not just acting immature.

I am not in favour of hostel . Hostel is required only when facilities are not available at hometown.
