Sir,
Sub: Highlighting Child Labour

I wish to bring to your kind notice about one of the important problems of our area. That is Child Labour. Our street is full of industries and factories.
Many greedy members are using poor children for their employment by promising to give food and shelter. It is normal to see children working in construction buildings and hotels and not educated.
Repeated appeals to the officials have fallen in their deaf ears. I wish you to publish this "social evil "in your newspaper and save them and give education

Subject: Stop exploiting childhood.

Respected sir/ ma’am

Through the column of your esteemed newspaper I would like to draw the attention of everyone who has gone through the phase of golden childhood. I would like everyone to think upon how children are forced to work under inhuman conditions.

Every corner of the child labourer’s world is bleak. Their aching stomach force them to work in factories, mines, washing cars, work as domestic servants, etc., also in air of desolation. Their wishes and dreams are lost with the passing time because years of mind numbing toil have killed all initiative and the ability to dream. The dreams shown by the government are never fulfilled. Their live moves from poverty to apathy, further, to greed and injustice. This plight of street children forced into labour early in life and denied them the essential opportunity of schooling. They suffer because of callousness of the careless society and the ignorant political class.

Children are the future of a nation. However, poverty and illiteracy drives the under- privileged children towards harsh labour, thus exploiting their innocence. Childhood is for enjoying, not wasting on strenuous labour. At last I would like to say that a child deserves to be educated, not to be humiliated. So, don’t steal someone’s childhood and put an end to child slavery by attacking it at its root. This socio economic issue need to be eradicated.

Yours faithfully

XYZ
