Subject: Sale of Bogus Medicine

Sir

Through the esteemed column of your newspaper, I wish to draw your attention towards the sale of bogus medicines near our home.

Sale of bogus medicines is a common thing these days. People unknowingly buy fake medicines and end up getting hospitalized. These medicines can also result in death. Recently, a young person died in our locality. The doctors diagnosed the reason as 'intake of harmful chemicals'. On further investigation, it was found that he purchased medicines from a pharmacy  shop near us. He needed that medication for anxiety but little did he know that it was a counterfeit medicine. Such medicines may contain high levels of poison, heavy metals and household items. Not only this shop, but there are other shops as well which sell these items just for their benefit.

I request you to please look into the matter as it can endanger anybody's life. I hope that action is taken as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely

XYZ
