Subject: Cleanliness campaign in our Area

Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I want to give an account of the cleanliness campaign organised in our area during this weekend. We had been campaigning for this for the last month. We had been explaining to the residents the need to keeping the their biodegradable waste and non-biodegradable wastes in separate containers.

This Saturday we started our cleanliness campaign from A-block. With brooms, sacks, poly bags and containers we started cleaning the roads and collecting the rubbish in sacks and containers. All the residents were motivated by our initiative and joined us. During the two days, we were able to clean most of the Yamuna Vihar.

I request you to give it sufficient publicity so that young man in other areas are also motivated to learn such drives.
