Sub: Bad condition of roads
Sir/Madam,
Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper, I wish to highlight the bad condition of roads in Rajendra Nagar. Citizens pay a number of taxes to ensure the smooth running of the government. A government should provide basic facilities like good, clean roads and a safe environment for the citizens. In our locality, the roads have not been repaired for the past 3 years. There are pitfall and breakages which cause accidents every other day. The repair work done by government agencies is shoddy and does not last for more than a few months. The situation is aggravated in monsoons when many people get injured and have accidents due to the worn out roads. The RWAs have made numerous appeals to the governing bodies but no concrete action has been taken. The issue needs to be addressed urgently before the onset of the monsoons.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,

The roads are full of pot holes since it has not been maintained for a long period of time. The black topping can no longer be seen. It looks like a dirt road. During the Monsoon the road is flooded like a river. During Winter it gets dry and dusty. We have no other option but to breathe the air which is filled with so many pollutants. Road accidents occur very often too.
The residents are suffering untold hardships due to the bad and dangerous conditions of the road.
Therefore, I request you to conduct an on the spot survey of Jamalpur, Munger District, and take appropriate action for repairing the roads at the earliest.
Thanking you gratefully,
Yours sincerely,
