Subject: Ban on insensitive use loudspeakers during examination times.
Sir,
With due respect I would like to bring to your kind attention the problem of irresponsible and insensitive use of loudspeakers in town.
First, the celebration of festivals use maximum loudspeakers. I am not against any festival but the manner in which they are celebrated. This must be banned during examination times.
Second, there are restaurants, cafes and night clubs where loud music is played late into the night in the name of birthday celebrations and parties.
Third, loudspeakers and loud music are played all day and late into the whole night in the name of birthday parties, get-togethers, etc.
Fifth, this disturbs the sleep of the public.
Sixth, noise pollution also disturbs the sick people who needed quiet to rest and sleep. Noise pollution causes headache and irritable behavior, etc.
The noise from caused as indicated above, interfere with the study times of students. It is difficult to concentrate on studies with so much annoying noises. It is unfair that for no fault of their own, their academic career would suffer setbacks.
Therefore, I feel that the use of loudspeakers and loud music should be banned during examination time.
I look forward to an early action and issuing of directives to all localities in the town and directives to the law enforcement agencies to implement it in letter and spirit..
Yours sincerely,
S.K. Mark
