Dear Father,
What a relief! Our examination is over today. I am glad to tell you that my hard work, your good wishes and the grace of god have enabled me to fare nicely in the exam. Mostly the paper-setters wanted to test the ability of the students. So the papers were easy for those who worked thoroughly, but the difficult for those who had crammed only selected questions. Luckily I prepared so well that able to give all the answers. I also keep your advice in mind and read reference book too to get some extra information and questions which helped me lot during my exams.
I have done all the papers nicely and hope to get high first division. Let you know my result as soon as it gets declared and when you will come back we go out for the party for sure.
I hope is this help you

My dear Father,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of health and spirits. I am writing this to inform you that my annual examination is going to take place next week. You will be glad to know that I am fully prepared for it. I have revised my courses twice. I am sure of doing all the papers with full confidence. There is yet one week for the examination. I am going to utilize this time for further revision of my courses. I hope to do quite well.
Mathematics has all along been a dread to me. But thanks to the help of my friend, Rakesh, I have now made up my deficiency in the subject. If the paper is not very stiff, I shall be able to do all the sums. You need not worry on that score. Please remember me to dearest mummy and love to Charu.
With regards,
