Hi David,

Nice hearing from you, I'm glad to hear you're getting by okay in these grim times.

You asked how’s it going for us back here in New Zealand.

You would have heard that the whole country is locked down and with breaks for exercise and shopping, we’re all living under a sort of voluntary house arrest.

The start of the lock down triggered in me an old feeling from past years.

Best to your and yours,

Don

Hello Ira,                                                                     Dated : 29/04/2020

Thanks for your letter where you told me about your favorite subject. I also like learning English. Today I’m writing to tell you about my household chores.

Doing household chores is a necessary part of our life. Everybody is happy when their home is bright and clean.

My householding duties are: to wash up, to water the plants and to vacuum the carpets.

I always make my bed and tidy my room. I sometimes go shopping and cook lunch.

I’m sure that doing my chores makes me feel fine.

What is your attitude to housework?
