Dear Joe

I got your letter today morning and was happy to read through it. It really made my day to know how you are progressing with your studies. You have definitely done much better than you did last month. I hope you will keep up your performance and be consistent in your studies.

Although you are doing your best, I request you to take half an hour off every day to play your favorite sport. This will not only help you feel quite relaxed but allow you to concentrate more in your studies. You could also consider doing a bit of reading your favorite author. All this will definitely not bring down your present achievement in any way. They will only motivate you to do better.
