Dear Anushka,

How are you doing? It has been a long time we spoke. I hope everything on your side is going well. I had joined NSS in the start of this year and I thought to share my experience.

So NSS is basically the acronym for National Service Scheme. It is sponsored by the government of India and is conducted by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports in India (currently it is Kiren Rijiju) . It started on 24th September 1969. This gives an opportunity to students to take part in different government community services and programmes. Basically NSS wants to give the young students of India an experience of delivering community service. As a member of NSS I feel really proud and happy. It would be great if you could also join. I am sure you'll have a great experience.
