Answer:

Given,

Co - ordinates of :-

A = (4 , 5)

let,

x_1 = 4

y_1 = 5

B = (10 , 13)

x_2 = 10

y_2 = 13

To Find :-

Distance Between the Points.

Required Formula :-

 d =  \sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^{2}  + (y_2 - y_1)^{2} }

\huge\sf\underline{Solution}

\sf\implies d = √(10-4)² + (13-5)²

d = √ (6)² + (8)²

d = √ 36 + 64

d = √100

d = √(10)²

d = 10units

\sf\therefore Distance Between the two Points = 10units.

Question:

Find distance between two point A(4,5) and B(10,13)

Answer:

To find distance between two point in 2-D plane, distance formula can be used.

(Distance Formula:  \sqrt{ {(x1 - x2)}^{2} +  {(y1 - y2)}^{2}  }  \:  \:  \:   )

So, distance between A and B can be denoted as AB ,

Now , using distance formula, distance between And B is,

 =  > AB =  \sqrt{ {(4 - 10)}^{2} +  {(5 - 13)}^{2}  }

 =  > AB =  \sqrt{ {( - 6)}^{2} +  {( - 8)}^{2}  }

 =  > AB =  \sqrt{36 + 64}

 =  > AB  = \sqrt{100}

 =  > AB = 10units

Hence, distance between the two points A and B is 10 units.
