Li and Be have the tendency to form covalent compounds.Explain.​

Answer:

the atomic and ionic radi of li and be are too small.Therefore nuclear attraction is strong compared to rest of the alkali metals..It leads to a greater polarizing power on li and be ion...hence they form covalent bond...
