Eleven Brahmins were accepted as the disciple of Mahavira and Gautama was the eldest disciple of Mahavira.
He was very fond of his master and he stated many interesting dialogues to describe life and role of the human beings.
Mahavira never tried to gave answers to his students, but Gautama clearly described various answers with scientific, ethical, metaphysical and religious aspects, giving anecdotes from personal life.
