According to question,
both bodies have equal momentum
therefore. product of mass and velocity of both bodies are equal.Let it be x
mv=x. v=x/m
ke of first body,
=1/2 mv^2
=1/2 m(x/m)^2
=1/2m(x^2/m^2)
ke of second body
=1/2 mv^2
=1/2 m(x/m)^2
=1/2 m(x^2/m^2)
therefore ke of both the bodies are same.
