✤ Matter has certain properties. Light & Sound are not considered as matter because They don't carry the properties of matter.

◇ Matter occupies Space. For example - An empty bottle containing air.

◇ Matter has mass and volume itself. For example- Solids and liquids.

◇ Matter has boiling and melting points.
