light cannot travel in vaccum . so how does the light from stars reach earth?

we can't say that there is vacuum In the universe. there are dust particles, ice particles, gases like hydrogen in different states and forms, dark matter and some unknown substances in the space. therefore light can reach the earth

Light doesn't need any media to travel through. This form of energy can travel through any media that doesn't block its path . The source of light doesn't transfer energy either in the longitudinal or transverse way( transferring energy through the movement of particles ), it is electromagnetic radiation. Packets of photons move from the source to the destination, (carrying information about the source).
