Hi

entral Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the class 10 science board exam on March 16.

India Today Education team has brought exclusive tips for the class 10 students to score full marks in the Science board exam.

Preparation strategy at this moment:

Prepare for both Section A and Section B

Stress upon the revision work

Solve as many numerical as you can

Try not to make mistake by putting the wrong convention and doing mathematical error

Solve more numerical from light and electricity chapter.

Paper pattern and marking scheme:

There will be two sections i.e. Section A and Section B

Section A will have questions from NCERT textbooks

Section B will have questions from practical components

6 questions of two mark each in Section B

21 questions from Section A (one-marker, two-marker, three-marker and fiver-marker questions).

Important topics that should be focussed more upon:

Stress on chapter 'Electricity'

Chapter of Light: Phenomenon of dispersion, refraction and reflection

In biology, focus on life process and control and coordination chapter

In Chemistry, have detailed knowledge of carbon and its compounds.

How to attempt the paper in three hours:

Start with five-mark questions if you feel conformable

Then attempt three-markers, two-markers and one-marker

Attempt each and every part of the question separately

Do not make a mixed paragraph.

Sample papers:

Try to solve one to two sample papers in a week

Last minute tips:

Brush up on all the concepts

Lay more stress on the chapters of Magnetic Effect of Current, Electricity and Light

In Biology, make notes of functions of organs

In Chemistry, practice the writing of balanced chemical equations.
