Refractive Index = Speed of light in vaccum/speed of light in medium

1.5 = 3×10^8/speed of light in glass

Speed of light in glass
= (3×10^8)/1.5
= 2× 10^8 m/s

GIVEN : The refractive index of glass with respect to air is 1.5 and
The refractive index of glass = speed of light in vacuum/speed of light in glass
so , speed of light in glass = speed of light in vacuum /refractive index of glass
= 3×10tace 8÷1.5
= 2×10tace 8 m/s
The speed of light in glass is 2×10tace 8 m/s
