Electron, lightest stable subatomic particle known. It carries a negative charge, which is considered the basic unit of electric charge. The rest mass of the electron is 9.10938356 × 10−31kg, which is only 1/1,836the mass of aproton.

Answer :-

If we only consider fundamental particles which makes up a atom then your answer is electron

If we consider it a little bit deeper then the answer is a quark which is the smallest and the lightest particles which makes up atom (protons and neutrons are also made up of quarks )
