Liguate and strap shaped corolla occurs in sunflowers in

    C)  Ray Florets only.

In disc floret there is no ligulation. There is no strap shaped corolla.

There extra appendages outside the sun disc are called the ligulations. These ligulations give extra beauty and extraction to the flower.  These are in the shape of separate individual lobes or sun rays. That is why they are called ray flowers.

The small flowers inside the Sun disc area are called the disc flowers. These Ray floret are unisexual and contain only gynoecium. The disc flowers are bisexual.
