Step-by-step explanation:

y = lim (1+1/x)^1/x

x->0

applying ln on both sides

ln(1+1/x)

ln y=lim 1/x ln (1+1/x) = lim _______

x->0 x->0 x

it is in form infinity over zero =infinity

ln y = infinity =>y= e power infinity =infinity

this is all I can answer after going through my limits book

hope this helps
