Limitations to compare countries on the vasis of an average incone

It is not a broader concept of development

It doesn't tell us how the income is distributed

We cannot compare countries based on average income,due to variation in population size

It thus becomes necessary to take other factors like  infant mortality rate,life expectancy,Literacy rate and basic health and educational facilities into consideration.
