in this poem all the world is depicted as a stage . exits and entrances refer to our birth and death. again like so many roles of a person as actor on the stage , we also have many roles in our life. when we enter a stage as a child ,then a school student , then a teenager , then a young person , then a bold person like a soldier , at last we become old and our role ends
