Step-by-step explanation:
2) Let the number be x.
x/2 + 3/4x =25/2
5/4x = 25/2
x=10
So the number is 10.
3)Let the consecutive multiples be 3(x-1), 3x and 3(x+1)
3(x-1) + 3x + 3(x+1)= 126
3x-3+3x+3x+3=126
9x=126
x=14
The consecutive multiples are 3*(14-1), 3*14, 3*(14+1)
that is 39, 42 and 45.
