If the lines are parallel then,

a1/a2 = b1/b2 ≠ c1/c2

a1/a2 ≠ c1/c2 ; a1/a2 = b1/b2

6/b ≠ 4/9 ; 6/b = -5/-4

b ≠ 54/4 : b = 24/5

b ≠ 27/2 ; b = 24/5

It is clear that, value of b is 24/5 but it must not be 27/2.

Hence, Value of b is 24/5
