There are some axioms, like:

1. Alternate opposite angles by the transversal with the parallels, are equal.

2. Vertically opposite angles by two intersecting lines are equal.

3. Sum of angles along the same side of transversal is equal to 180°.

4. The corresponding angles formed by the transveral with the parallels, are equal.

5. Sum of pair of angles in a linear pair or in a staight line is equal to 180°.

6. sum of all the angles formed along a staight line is a complete angle, and is equal to 360°.
