Liquid propane produced is transported in storage vessels by train each vessel

has a volume of 0.30 m3 at its vapor pressure. As per safety requirements the liquid must

not occupy more than 80% of the total volume at a temperature of 320 K. For these

conditions, determine the mass of vapor and the mass of liquid in the vessel using the

generalized correlations for liquids and gases. At 320 K the vapor pressure of propane is

16 bar.
