liquid exert pressure downward because when we fill the water in the jug and keep it for some time in the refrigerter. after, few hours we can see that the liquid that is water has changed into ice. so the downward portion of the jug was the jug was pressured more so the keeping surface was of another shape. from this activity we can see or observe that the liquid exert more pressure downwards
pressure exert by the liquid is in many direction like
