The measures that are taken by farmers to conserve soil are as follows -
• The farmers are now using organic fertilizers and pesticides which will decrease the amount of chemical contamination in the soil.
• The intensive agriculture is not performed by most of the farmers in order to maintain the fertility of the soil for longer time period.
• Crop rotation method is also used in order to prevent the fast depletion of particular minerals of the soil.
• The soil is also maintained by adding organic materials in the soil which increases the organic matters in order to retain the soil fertility.
