1 Give man a fish, you feed him for a day.
Teach man to fish and you feed for a lifetime. Meaning of proverb : It is more worthwhile to teach someone to do something (for themselves) then do it for them

Sentence: My friend Ryan don't know how to cook so he orders food from outside hence I decided to give him a fish by teaching him how to cook.

2 Laugh and the world laughs with you,weep and you weep alone.

Meaning: People like to be around those who are happy but not those who are sad or morose.

Sentence: The people surrounded him thinking he is Ambani's son but soon dispersed after knowing he's illegitimate.

3 A picture is worth of thousand words

Meaning: A complex idea can be conveyed with just a single picture

Sentence: Ryan has a habit of drawing and painting when he's angry and sad, hence his emotions are conveyed through a picture which is worth of thousand words.

4 When in Rome do as the Romans do.

Meaning: You should adapt yourself to the customs of the people who are in a certain place and behave like they do.

Sentence: When he was meeting tribal people in Assam he was adapting the customs as it is commonly said when in Rome do as Romans do.

5 Birds of a feather flock together.

Meaning: People of the same sort and same tastes will be found together.

Sentence: These health professionals sure were birds of a feather.
