1st law of motion- eg when we apply brake to a moving bike
2nd law of motion- eg a car in a rest position

rose40: explain?
rose40: and whaf is first law and the secound one
preethi29: can i kn which std u r?
rose40: ninth std
preethi29: ok
preethi29: First law of motion when an object at rest or keep moving with the same velocity is called inertia
preethi29: And when the object is a domain to the state of first or of uniform motion in a straight line and as compared to change that state Bai applied force that remains at constant so it is the first law of motion and example is that I'll be applied to a moving object example bike

examples of first law of motion:
(2) While you are riding in the front passenger seat of a car, the driver suddenly turns left. What about you? You continue to move in a straight line until the door to your right, turning left, eventually runs into you. In the car, it may appear to you that you slid outward and hit the door.

(3)When you slide your book on the floor it will stop soon. When you slide it on an icy surface, it will travel further and then stop. Galileo believed that when you slide a perfectly smooth object on a frictionless floor the object would travel forever.

examples of the second law of motion:While catching a fast moving cricket ball a fielder in the ground gradually pulls his hands backward with the moving ball.

In a high jump athletic event the athletes are made to fall either on a cushioned bed or on a sand bed.this is to increase the time of the athletes fall to stop after making the jump.
