the characteristics are as follows:

Mountain vegetation is vegetation, that is, plant life found on mountains.

1. The vegetation on mountains is mostly only found in higher altitudes.

2. The type of vegetation growing on the mountains differ according to the height or altitude at which it is present.

3. Since the temperature decreases when the altitude increases and therefore the higher points are colder than the lower ones, therefore trees become conical (and thus the coniferous forests are formed).

4. When the vegetation is big they end up forming boundaries or a wall along the mountain.

5. The trees are conical, tall, and have a sloping shape so that the snow that falls on them can easily fall off to the ground.
