Environment :

The natural world in which both the living things(Biotic) and non-living(Abiotic) things live together.

Importance of environment :

• All the living organisms depends upon the environment directly or indirectly.
• The nature (environment) gives us food, shelter etc.
• If we take care of it it will take care of us.

Here are some ways to save our environment :

1. Plantation : more and more plants should be planted than cutting them.
2. Twin Bin System : There would be two different bins.  The BLUE COLOURED BIN : where the biodegradable wastes would be thrown.  The RED COLOURED BIN : where the non biodegradable wastes would be thrown.
3. Rain Water Harvesting : The method of collecting rain water and using it for future use is called Rain Water Harvesting.
4. Using cloth bags, jute bags, paper bags instead of using poly bags.
5. Do not burn the polythene as it causes air pollution. Or do not dump it in the soil. Just give it for recycling.
