1. Elected leaders may not be aware about the best decisions for the people.
2. Involvement of electoral competetion in a democracy gives rise to corruption.
3. Oridinary people may not understand the meaning of collective good and hence they should not be made a part of the decision making process.

1. A democratic government is more accountable to the people.
2. Its provide a method to deal with conflict and differences.
3. Democracy allows correction of its own mistake and hence is a better form of government.
