List any four reasons why we need to look for alternative sources of energy in houses

Alternate sources of energy are necessary because:

The mainstream fossil fuels like coal and petroleum are non renewable so their reserves are ending fast. Soon all the existing reserves will be finished in about next 50 years.
The burning of fossil fuels is polluting the environment. 
The CO2 obtained from burning fossil fuels is leading to greenhouse effect leading to global warming.
Alternate energies do not cause such pollution and are renewable.

1. Current energy resources are limited and non-renewable. They will run out about 5 decades

2. They emit harmful gasses like CO, SO2. These gasses cause pollution.

3. Burning of fossil fuels release CO2 which is a greenhouse gas causing global warming.

4. These resources have to be saved for the future generations which can be ensured by using less of these resources and using more of new resources.
